The owners of a property in Laguna Beach, a short block from the ocean, engaged Brier Architecture to design their new home. 
We led a community outreach effort, starting with the home owners' association and proceeding to the City of Laguna Beach, to ensure the buy-in of all stakeholders and community members.  This was a critical step in securing project approval in a locale with strong community involvement. 
We worked to create true indoor/outdoor spaces: the kitchen, living room, and dining area enjoy outdoor terraces with views of the Pacific to the west and of a private garden to the east.

In the master bedroom suite, a sunken tub with corner window overlooks the ocean.
