Designed for a steep, hillside property with exceptional north views of the San Fernando Valley and the Santa Susana Mountains, the Sunswept house includes a four car garage and guest house, connected by elevator and stairway to a two story house above it.

Both plan and facade are organized around one of the clients' main objectives: that all rooms, including both living room level and bedrooms, are wide open to the north light and spectacular views. At the same time, the facade is composed to provide privacy for each balcony.
